Fluoride Free New Zealand and New Zealand Doctors Speaking Out With Science take legal action against Hastings District Council over Fluoridation.
| We are sad to announce that Dr Peter Scanlon passed away on Tuesday (15th July 2014) in hospital after battling cancer for the past year. Dr Scanlon will be sorely missed by everyone in Fluoride Free New Zealand. Dr Scanlon gave great presentations to New Plymouth, Hamilton and South Taranaki District Councils. He did a tremendous amount of research and ended up knowing more about fluoridation than just about anyone else in the country. His presentations were superb and a huge reason why New Plymouth and Hamilton councillors voted to stop fluoridation. Dr Scanlon’s passing is a huge loss to the Fluoride Free movement in New Zealand and to New Zealand as a whole. Dr Scanlon was a rare individual who was prepared to put the welfare of others above all other considerations. We extend our sincere condolences to Peter’s family.. |
