Would you please advise with a simple yes or no – if you are elected, would you support pressuring the coalition Government to bring forward, and vote for, the Member’s Bill introduced by NZ First, which seeks to repeal the Health (Fluoridation of Drinking Water) Amendment Act 2021 so that decision making for fluoridation can be returned to the hands of each local council?

Andrew Clark

Totally opposed to Fluoridation

No to fluoride

Ian Pottinger

No to fluoride

Tim Skinner

I am strongly against fluoridation of our water supply. And would debate and vote against fluoridation at the Council table if put back into our hands. As I did this term and the past 4 terms I have been a councillor.I also know that if the decision was put into our Council hands, it would also be fluoridated as only 3 councillors voted against last year and two of us the term prior.

Stephen said their teeth are horrible and London wish to remove fluoride from faucet water, which would excerbate magnitudes.
I add including severe pain leading to severe violence costing in New Zealand $521 per day per prisoner.

Chris Dawson

LGNZ specifically asked central government to take over decision making regarding fluoridation around 2021, as Council’s felt they were not the right people to be making such decisions.
So no, I do not support NZ First’s members bill as it’s the complete opposite of what Council’s wanted.

I am only standing for the Licensing Trust but I would be a no if standing for Council.
