Would you please advise with a simple yes or no – if you are elected, would you support pressuring the coalition Government to bring forward, and vote for, the Member’s Bill introduced by NZ First, which seeks to repeal the Health (Fluoridation of Drinking Water) Amendment Act 2021 so that decision making for fluoridation can be returned to the hands of each local council?

I vote yes to support a repeal of fluoridation and put the decision in the hands of the ratepayers who consume the water.
Yes, I support this. There are many other avenues to take for healthy teeth other than adding fluoride to the water. Education is the key and the free dental service should be priority.

Elzabeth Mundt

I already advocate strongly to the coalition and Tamatua Arowai, as well as raise my concerns with Mayors, CEs and other elected members across Nz, for NOT having fluoride in our water supplies.

Hayden Porritt

Yes I would support lobbying central govt

Bex Lambie

Absolutely it needs to be repealed.

Samuel Wilshire

We already have enough toxins added to our water with chlorine.
We have the best water in NZ we need to stop putting junk in it.

Till Peters

Regardless of party politics, I generally support decisions about water being made locally rather than centrally. Local control allows communities to better reflect their own needs and preferences.

Alan Peacock

Yes. I would push that both Fluoridation and Chlorination decision making should be made by local councils following referendum by their rate payers.

Sarah Barnsley

No

Barry Mack

No

No, I would not support this proposal.
