Please come along and show support. The Injunction filed by Fluoride Free New Zealand (FFNZ), and New Zealand Doctors Speaking Out with Science (NZDSOS) will be heard in court.
The Injunction is asking the court to order the council to stop fluoridation as the Hastings District Council started fluoridation on the 8th April 2024 without first doing a Bill of Rights analysis. The High Court ruled in November 2023 that any decision to fluoridate must first undergo a Bill of Rights analysis since fluoridation violates section 11 of the NZ Bill of Rights – the right to refuse to undergo medical treatment.
