Fluoride Free New Zealand and New Zealand Doctors Speaking Out With Science take legal action against Hastings District Council over Fluoridation.
Fluoride Free NZ speakers presented to a good local crowd of 60 people on Saturday 15 November in Taupo.
Those in attendance heard health professionals (one retired doctor, three dentists and an ex school dental nurse) give evidence as to why Taupo and Turangi residents need to demand an end to fluoridation.
The speakers explained that fluoridation is not effective at reducing dental decay and that there are a range of health and ethical concerns associated with it.
