Fluoride Free Auckland will again be active at the Auckland Go Green Event on the 18th & 19th of April at the ASB Showgrounds, Greenlane. Fluoride Free Auckland volunteers will be joined by Dentist Dr Lawrie Brett to continue the campaign to End Fluoridation in Auckland and New Zealand. Dr Brett will be speaking at 1pm on Saturday and Sunday 2:30pm at the event. Come along and bring your questions.
Go Green have a very limited time offer over Easter. Tickets are only $5 until the allocation runs out.
Recent peer reviewed research on fluoridation’s link with lowered thyroid function (hypothyroidism) and ADHD which, has been shared with Auckland Councillors, shows that there is now even more reason than ever before to end the outdated practice of adding fluoride chemicals to the Auckland’s and New Zealand’s shared water supply.
Auckland Deputy Mayor Penny Hulse said at the 2014 Regional Council Meeting that she “has a science background” and will not even consider reviewing the fluoridation issue. Given the latest research we challenge the Deputy Mayor to rethink her stance on fluoridation given the affect on both thyroid and brain function and those most at risk such as bottle-fed babies who receive a huge amount of fluoride from Auckland’s fluoridated tap water.
To assist in making the Go Green Event a success please contact us at , share the word about Fluoride Free NZ at the Go Green event and please also consider making a regular small donation of $5 or more a month. We need as many people as possible to give a small regular donation so that we can afford to to do things like pay for the stall at Go Green and to embark on a serious education campaign throughout New Zealand. We are all volunteers and we need your support to be able to get to these events and spread the word about ending fluoridation.
Thank you for your support.
